Summary

Open Road Integrated Media is seeking an innovative Marketing Analytics Coordinator who is both analytical and creative. The Coordinator will be responsible for executing advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g. Amazon, Meta, and TikTok) and conducting campaign analysis and identifying actionable insights. Additional responsibilities include running advertising tests, communicating trends and opportunities to the Marketing team, and assisting team members with analytical projects as needed. This role will report to the Marketing Analytics Manager. This position will be a hybrid of remote work and in-person office attendance (at least 2 days in the NYC office).

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of the ebook reading audience —who they are, what they're looking for, what they respond to, and what ultimately converts them into customers—as well as the platform-specific nuances of audience behavior. The ideal candidate will also have advanced knowledge of and proficiency with Excel and consumer research tools, a facility with technology and data, an analytical mind, and strong attention to detail. Must be able to proactively assess results, determine actionable insights, take action based on those insights, and repeat that cycle again to continually improve performance.

Essential Functions
  • Analyze the performance of Open Road’s marketing and advertising channels, programs, and promotional activities as well as sales trends and customer purchase behavior using internal and 3rd party reporting tools; identify and execute optimizations to maximize ROI and enhance promotional strategy
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Open Road's audience, catalog, and messaging
  • Plan, write, and build advertising campaigns across all digital channels including, but not limited to, Meta (Facebook + Instagram), Amazon, and TikTok
  • Execute A/B tests frequently, share findings, and incorporate best practices into future campaigns
  • Assess efficacy and functionality of internal proprietary marketing tools and make recommendations for enhancements
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting and data analysis as needed
  • Stay current on social media platform updates, advertising strategies, digital retail, and broader media consumption trends
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, statistics, or related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in marketing analytics, paid social, and/or digital advertising
  • Adept analytical skills with proven ability to dissect large amounts of data and turn it into actionable initiatives
  • Expert knowledge of Meta Ads Manager; Amazon, BookBub and/or TikTok advertising knowledge are a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, charts); SQL is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to be a self-starter on individual projects as well as a collaborative team player
  • A knowledge and love of books and reading
Compensation
  • Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range will be $50,000.00 -$55,000.00.
